Metalmeccanici band is created on september 2001 in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna (Italy). The first members of the group are Teddy Beer as singer, Lord Buden on guitar, Thunder Dan on bass guitar and Pavo on the drums.

As far as Pavo left the band on december, San Giovanni enters in the group.

On january 2002, our heroes manage to compose a first song untitled “Damnatio Memoriae”.
On april they play for the first time in concert, revisiting the songs “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor and “Orgasmatron” by Motorhead, and proposing “Damnatio Memoriae” too.

Pocos días después el guitarrista David Armela se une al grupo, desde ahora los Metalmeccanici son cinco.

After new songs, Metalmeccanici decide to record a demo. On march 2003 the first guitars and bass tracks are recorded, soon followed by the ones of the drums and the vocals. "Enjoy Suicide" is released on october of the same year. It is a recorded completely produced by Metalmeccanici themselves, and it is formed by four original songs.

A year of concerts and some new songs follows the releasing of the demo. On august 2004 the drums tracks for a new record are recorded. On january 2005 the second demo is ready to be mixed with the end of the guitars recording section.

In the meanwhile, the drummer goes abroad to study and he is temporary replaced by Veleno from the band Afterlife. San Giovanni is definitively back in Italy at the beginning of July 2005, and few days after, Metalmeccanici play in problematic wellcome-back concert in an unusual acustic version, at the Osteria n°20, in the Festa de L’Unità of Casalecchio di Reno.
